Site Manager

Summary:

The Site Manager position involves overseeing the creation and implementation of Airgain's essential products. The individual will report directly to the VP of Engineering and will play a crucial role in guiding interdisciplinary engineering groups. Strong Project Management expertise, particularly in the Telecommunications/Embedded product sector, is essential for the ideal candidate, as well as excellent teamwork skills for managing crucial communications both internally and externally with clients and partners.

Essential Function:

• Coordinate interdisciplinary initiatives at Airgain to manage product delivery from inception to market release and continuous support
• Responsible for ensuring that project delivery is successful, meeting product specifications with high quality, on time, and within budget
• Playing a key part in coordinating and communicating with various parties involved in the project, such as Airgain cross-functional teams, while also serving as the representative of Airgain in interactions with suppliers, partners, and customers
• Lead the project team, both internally and externally, in navigating intricate technical trade-off assessments and addressing problem-solving challenges
• Consistently showcasing high levels of proficiency in quality and process to effectively carry out projects and enhance company performance through ongoing enhancements
• Oversee relationships with original design manufacturers (ODMs) and technology partners
• Project budget management involves overseeing financial resources and guiding the development processes through different project stages or gates, as well as utilizing Agile/Scrum methodologies for effective team collaboration

Utilize quality management techniques such as the 8D methodology, six-sigma, and root-cause analysis to enhance operational efficiency and address issues effectively

Requirements/Qualifications:

• A minimum of five years of experience is needed in fields such as Wireless, Telecommunications, Embedded Systems, or similar areas
• A bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field is highly desired
• PMP certification (preferred)
• Skilled in managing the entire product lifecycle, encompassing product conceptualization, creation, and maintenance
• Proficient in overseeing initiatives for product accreditation and Device-to-Cloud Solutions

Compensation:

The full-time position in question offers a base salary range of $108,000 to $131,000 per year, in addition to a target annual bonus. This role is available in Arizona, California, or Minnesota, with the compensation package being adjusted to align with the corresponding local market rates.
