Construction Coordinator

Summary:

The Construction Coordinator will oversee the progression and deployment of critical products at Airgain, working closely with cross-functional engineering teams. Accountability falls on this role to lead project initiatives and ensure successful outcomes. The ideal candidate will showcase a strong background in Project Management, specifically in the Telecommunications/Embedded product sector, and demonstrate the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with both internal teams and external stakeholders.

Essential Function:

• Guide multifaceted projects at Airgain for the successful execution of product lifecycle stages including ideation, development, production, market introduction, and long-term support
• Responsible for overseeing project delivery to ensure that product needs are met with top-notch quality, delivered on time, and within budget constraints
• Taking on a pivotal role in managing coordination and communication efforts among all project stakeholders, including different teams within Airgain, and serving as the point of contact for interactions between Airgain and suppliers, partners, and customers
• Offer support in helping the project team, both internally and externally, with intricate technical decision-making processes and problem resolution
• Demonstrate unwavering proficiency in quality and process management to drive successful project completion and contribute to the continuous improvement of company operations
• Handle and maintain ODM and technology partner connections
• Leading the development processes using the Stage/Gate approach requires efficient decision-making at each critical juncture of the project, ensuring that resources are well-distributed and progress is evaluated meticulously, complemented by the implementation of Agile/Scrum practices for iterative and incremental advancements

Employ quality control frameworks such as the 8D approach, six-sigma principles, and root-cause analysis to optimize performance and resolve challenges systematically

Requirements/Qualifications:

• Candidates must possess a background of over five years in Wireless, Telecommunications, Embedded Systems, or similar domains
• The preferred educational background includes a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a similar field
• PMP certification (preferred)
• Capable of confidently navigating through the complete product lifecycle, from initial definition to ongoing support
• Competent in heading projects for the certification of products and implementing Device-to-Cloud Solutions

Compensation:

The salary range for this full-time role is between $108,000 and $131,000 per year, coupled with a target annual bonus. This position is available in Arizona, California, or Minnesota, and the compensation offered will vary based on the local market dynamics.
