With its establishment in 1990, LGH has become a leading provider in the hoisting and rigging equipment rental industry, offering rental equipment essential for the installation, upkeep, and renovation of structures such as bridges and sports stadiums.

We are seeking a candidate with mechanical expertise to join our team and assist in the maintenance of our top-of-the-line rental equipment, ensuring it is always ready for safe operation.

In this job, you can leverage your mechanical skills to:

• Coordinate rental equipment requests and perform inspections to ensure they meet our quality requirements.
• Deconstruct, analyze malfunctions, restore, rebuild, and verify the functionality of diverse electrical, manual, hydraulic, and pneumatic devices.
• Execute regular preventive care on leased tools and equipment.
• Operate a forklift as part of routine warehouse tasks to transport equipment, load and unload delivery vehicles efficiently.
• Transport rental orders in a safe and timely fashion by driving company vehicles.

The hours for this full-time role are set from Monday to Friday, beginning at 8:00 a.m. and ending at 4:30 p.m., with occasional overtime to be anticipated.

Employees will receive a starting rate of $19.37 per hour

After six months of being employed, you may be eligible for a raise of $1.00 per hour, in addition to annual salary boosts based on performance that begin at the one-year mark and continue every year following that.

Requirements:

Education/training requires the completion of high school or a comparable qualification.

Experience:

• Those with a strong inclination towards mechanics are preferred for this role.
• Desired qualifications include familiarity with hand and power tools.
• Having worked with air hoists, comealongs, manual hoists, electric hoists, or similar rigging equipment is beneficial but not obligatory.

Certifications/Licenses:

• A valid driver's license with a good driving record and the capability to adhere to insurance underwriting guidelines is mandatory.
• At the initiation of employment, individuals are required to have DOT certification (at the expense of the company); certification renewal is obligatory.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be capable of applying a force of up to 50 pounds for pushing and pulling tasks.
• Needs to be able to manage carrying loads up to 55 pounds in weight.
