Site Operations Manager

Summary:

As the leader of essential product development at Airgain, the Site Operations Manager is responsible for driving project success and ensuring timely delivery. This individual will work closely with engineering teams from various disciplines, assuming a pivotal role within the organization. Demonstrated expertise in Project Management, particularly within the Telecommunications/Embedded product industry, as well as adept communication and teamwork skills are essential qualifications for the role.

Essential Function:

• Direct cross-functional undertakings at Airgain to ensure seamless transition of products from conceptualization to engineering, production, market launch, and sustained post-launch activities
• In charge of delivering projects successfully, meeting product specifications with exceptional quality, and adhering to timelines and budget restrictions
• Having a primary responsibility for orchestrating and maintaining communication with all project stakeholders, including Airgain cross-functional teams, and acting as the main interface between Airgain and its suppliers, partners, and customers
• Provide guidance for the internal and external project team members in navigating complex technical trade-offs and determining solutions to problems
• Consistently exhibit strong competency in quality and processes to ensure the successful execution of projects and contribute to the overall enhancement of company performance
• Administer ODM and technology partner associations
• The process of managing project budgets and spearheading development procedures through the Stage/Gate methodology involves strategic planning, meticulous execution, and constant evaluation, while integrating Agile/Scrum principles to enhance communication and adaptability within the team dynamics

Leverage quality management practices including the 8D methodology, six-sigma tools, and root-cause analysis to drive continuous improvement and handle uncertainties efficiently

Requirements/Qualifications:

• Applicants should demonstrate a history of more than five years in areas like Wireless, Telecommunications, Embedded Systems, or related fields
• Candidates with a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related disciplines are preferred
• PMP certification (preferred)
• Competent in managing the end-to-end process of product development, encompassing definition, design, and maintenance
• Experienced in leading ventures focused on product certification and the integration of Device-to-Cloud Solutions

Compensation:

For this full-time position, the annual salary falls within the range of $108,000 to $131,000, with an additional target annual bonus. Depending on the location, whether it be Arizona, California, or Minnesota, the compensation package will be adjusted to match the local market standards.
