LGH, established in 1990, is a prominent player in the hoisting and rigging equipment rental sector, offering rental options crucial for installing, servicing, and renovating various structures, such as bridges and sports arenas.

We are looking for a mechanically skilled individual to join our team and take on a vital role in the maintenance of our premium rental equipment, ensuring it is always ready for safe operation.

This position offers you the chance to utilize your mechanical understanding for:

• Manage equipment rental orders and carry out assessments to guarantee they meet our quality benchmarks.
• Dismantle, diagnose problems, mend, reassemble, and evaluate different kinds of electric, manually operated, hydraulic, and pneumatic apparatus.
• Conduct scheduled preventative maintenance on hired equipment.
• Drive a forklift to handle the transfer of goods between delivery vehicles and the warehouse while conducting daily duties.
• Drive assigned company vehicles to transport rental orders securely and promptly.

The full-time position entails working from Monday to Friday starting at 8:00 a.m. and finishing at 4:30 p.m., with occasional overtime expected.

The minimum pay to begin with is $19.37 hourly

Following six months of employment, you might be entitled to an additional $1.00 per hour raise, as well as yearly performance-related salary increases beginning at the one-year mark and recurring each year subsequent to that.

Requirements:

The minimum requirement for education/training is a high school diploma or an equal qualification.

Experience:

• Preference for candidates demonstrating a mechanical aptitude or relevant experience.
• Proficiency with both hand tools and power tools is a plus.
• Familiarity with air hoists, comealongs, manual hoists, electric hoists, or other rigging tools can be valuable, although it is not a prerequisite.

Certifications/Licenses:

• You must possess a legitimate driver's license and a favorable driving record, as well as the capacity to satisfy insurance underwriting standards.
• Employees must obtain DOT certification when they begin working, and the cost will be covered by the company; certification upkeep is mandatory.

Physical Requirements:

• Must demonstrate the ability to move objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Required to handle loads of up to 55 pounds in weight.
